Single Sign-On (SSO)

This web site includes a video introduction to SSO, as well as a variety of other SSO resources.

Regarding the video, Clareity invited top real estate software vendors as well as representatives of some of the MLSs implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) to a meeting during the NAR Expo and Trade Show in 2007, then again prior to the December 2008 RESO / RETS meetings in Scottsdale, Arizona. Though the tradeshow and meetings are busy times, many found the time to attend. During the 2007 meeting, Matt Cohen reviewed how Clareity started the SSO initiative and worked with many industry vendors to bring it to its current point, including the release of the free SSO Toolkit. Paul Hethmon then provided a Toolkit update and the group discussed where the project is now, where we want it to go, and how we can get there together. During the 2008 meeting, Paul Hethmon provided a more technical update on using the toolkit, as well as a tool called Shibboleth.
